Embroider in an Afternoon

I was looking for a design which is quick to do and i found this one on the dress my friend was wearing. It was kind of appealing and went home and sketched it on a sheet of paper. This is a simple line sketch of a garden/flower patch with flowers and leaves.

White was the best choice of colour for a simple design and I worked on the end of the Kameez and on the Pant legs. I did the Flowers in bright Yellow Laisy Daisy Stitch and the Leaves in Shades of Green Fish Bone Stitch. The Stems are different Shades of Green just worked in Running Stitch. The Dries Grass stalk is worked in Brown Herring Bone Stitch.

This design does not take much time and as can be made complicated or can be repeated and embroidered in a Saree or Shawl/ Duppata, etc.
